Jenn & Matt | Ancaster Mill Wedding

Last week I shared Jenn & Matt’s Hamilton engagement session and today I am excited to share their Ancaster Mill Wedding photos from the fall. This was truly a perfect November wedding - we still had some fall colours, it wasn’t super chilly, it was bright outside - oh, and Matt and Jenn were the BEST. The Ancaster Mill continues to be one of my favourite venues in Hamilton that I absolutely love working at. From their excellent customer service to the beautiful Miller’s Chapel to the excellent food, it truly is an exceptional wedding venue in Hamilton. Jenn and I share the same last name though we have no relation to each other. During the reception, Jenn’s grandpa handed me a piece of paper that had an image of a man sitting at a table creating pottery (aka he was a potter). The image had the letters ‘Potter’ hidden throughout. I asked him why he had that paper on him and he said that he carries these pictures around and gives them to other Potter’s that he meets. I wonder how often he meets other Potter’s 😛 and sadly left the piece of paper at my table and forgot to bring it home with me. I loved chatting with the other Potter’s at the wedding, and I’ve never been so welcomed by complete strangers all because of my name!

Altogether, this was a beautiful day, from Jenn & Matt’s Shawn & Ed Brewery first look to partying at the reception at the Ancaster Mill.
