Meghan & Ben | Hamilton Gage Park Wedding Photography

Hamilton Wedding Photography

Meghan and Ben's wedding was laid back, fun, and intimate, focusing on what mattered most to them - celebrating with their friends and family. After considering numerous wedding venues, they both felt that what they really wanted was to get married at Gravity - the rock climbing gym where they met and love to spend time together. It took some creativity logistically, but everything came together beautifully!

We met at Gage Park where they had their first look and formal photos together before the ceremony. Then, we traveled to Gravity where they held their ceremony and reception. See the end of the post for all the amazing vendors involved.

Meghan & Ben have that radiating kind of love - where there is absolutely no doubt that they are head over heels for each other. While taking portrait photos of Ben, he looked over at Meghan and the biggest smile came across his face, with a true 'I am so happy to marry my best friend' look on his face. These two would make the most cynical person believe in love.

Side note: they opted for no wedding party which is something I have seen many couples do. Seriously friends, consider this - it will lessen your stress a TON. If you want to chat more about why I believe this just ask me :)

From the couple - their engagement story:

"We'd talked about getting married for a long time before we actually got engaged. Before either of those things were going to happen though, we wanted to make sure we found a house where we could kickstart our lives together. In October 2016, after a few months of searching, we purchased our first home, which we would close on just before Christmas 2016. As soon as we'd learned we got the house, Ben started thinking of ways to propose. We knew we were going to New York in a few weeks' time (November 2016) - unfortunately, that didn't give enough for the big question to happen over the trip. We looked at rings while we were there to get ideas, but it wasn't until Christmas Eve morning 2016 that Ben popped the question. It was just the two of us, sitting in our new home, enjoying our own quiet morning together before the rush and festivities of the holiday season. We had decided to exchange our stockings that morning. Ben had buried the ring in the bottom of my stocking. Although I had suspected it would happen over the holidays, I was surprised but excited when Ben asked me to marry him that morning. Of course I said yes and then we spent the rest of the holiday season sharing and celebrating our exciting news with family and friends."

Congratulations Meghan & Ben!
